  • What's included with my 2 Day Ticket?

Your 2-Day Ticket includes camping, although every vehicle will need a VEHICLE PASS (if your vehicle is 24’ or shorter), or an RV PASS (if your vehicle is 24’ or longer). You can purchase a Vehicle Pass or an RV Pass on our TICKET page. Carpooling is highly recommended!

 

  • Will Cannabis be sold at the 2021KBCO?

Yes, the unque feature of the 2021KBCO is that the main concert bowl will be a fully licensed cannabis retail marketplace featuring locally produced outdoor cannabis and cannabis products. There will be smoking lounges, dab bars, cannabis activation space and more.

 

  • What time does the schedule for the  Main Stage & the Arlo Stage begin?

12pm - 12am Friday Concert Bowl & Cannabis Events space opens - Main Stage

10am - 12am Saturday Concert Bowl & Cannabis Events space opens - Main Stage

10am - 8pm Friday & Saturday - Cannabis Workshops  and speaker panels - Arlo Stage

12pm - 2am     After hours variety acts & open mic - Arlo Stage

 

  • What are the Box Office hours?

Parking lot and Box Office opens on Friday at 7am Friday and Saturday

 

  • Will there be workshops?  

  • Yes. Please stay tuned for workshop schedules.

 

  • Is there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be 21+ to attend the 2021KBCO and have a valid government-issued ID is required to obtain a wristband. No exceptions.

 

  • Does my ID need to match the name on my ticket or registration?

The name displayed on the purchased ticket must match the name displayed on the 21+ valid government-issued ID.

 

  • Do I need a GA Ticket if I have a Car/Van or a RV Camping Pass?

Yes, GA tickets will give you access to the campgrounds and the festival. Car/Van Camping Pass and RV Camping Pass are add-ons to your ticket.

 

  • What’s the refund policy?

No Refunds. Event is rain or shine. Artists subject to change.

 

  • What are the COVID-19 Guidelines?

All 2021KBCO attendees must agree to follow all CA and Mendocino County COVID19 guidance & regulations that are in effect on Sept. 3-5, 2021. This could include proof of fully vaccinated by date of performance or proof of a negative COVID 19 test within 72 hours of the performance at the 2021KBCO. Masks may be required.

 

  • Will there be food vendors on site?

Yes there will be an excellent selection of Food & Drink vendors at the 2021KBCO.

 

  • Will there be potable water?

We will provide drinking water in stations conveniently located throughout the festival site. Please bring your own refillable containers! NO GLASS

 

  • Keep it Green!

Embrace the “pack it in, pack it out” minimal waste mentality. Take time to unpackage foods into reusable containers before you come to the festival. There is NO GLASS allowed in the Music Bowl, so please put your beverages into reusable containers prior to arrival. Bring your own plate & utensils. CARPOOL!

 

  • Will there be bathrooms or showers?

We will have porta- potties and hand wash stations on site, no showers

  • Can attendees go for a swim?

There is a seasonal creek that runs along the festival grounds. Considering current drought conditions, it is likely by September the creek will not be flowing and pretty dry, but expect wading will be possible in some areas.

 

  • Can we cook in the campground? Or have a fire?  

 Due to the extreme fire hazard in our area, absolutely no fires are allowed. Absolutely no open fires of any sort are allowed. The ONLY cooking flames allowed are propane stoves and ONLY if they are NOT on the ground and there is no dry grass within a 6 ft. radius around the stove.

 

  • Will there be ADA parking & Camping?

ADA day parking and ADA car camping is available in our Alter Abled Camp, for those who require a closer proximity to the main stage area. If you have further accessibility needs or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@kindbudcampout.com

 

  • Will alcohol be sold at the 2021KBCO?

Alcohol will not be sold at the 2021KBCO. You may have your personal alcohol beverages at your campsite. You can bring alcohol into the Food Court to enjoy with your meal.  NO GLASS! PERSONAL ALCOHOL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE CONCERT BOWL WHERE THE TEMP CANNABIS SPACE IS LOCATED.

 

  • Can I bring my dog or other pets?

No dogs or pets are allowed in the venue except for assistance animals. Owner will be asked for a physician's verification of assistance needed and must have the animal properly restrained.     

 

  • Are there electrical hookups in the campgrounds?    
    There are no electrical hook-ups in the campgrounds.    

 

 

  • What’s the weather like in September at the Black Oak Ranch?
    The weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for hot days and cold nights.

GETTING TO BLACK OAK RANCH – HWY 101

From the Bay Area:
Take Hwy. 101 north 150 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge to Laytonville. Black Oak Ranch is 5 miles north of Laytonville on the west side of the highway. Look for the signs, the parking lot is adjacent to the highway.

From the Sacramento Area:
Take Hwy. 5 north to Williams, turn on Hwy. 20 West, follow all the way to Hwy. 101 North–go approximately 40 miles north to Laytonville. Black Oak Ranch is 5 miles north of Laytonville.

From the North Coast/Oregon:
Take Hwy. 101 south. The site is approximately 100 miles south of Eureka. As you get close, begin to look at the mile marker signs at the side of the road. Black Oak Ranch is at mile marker 74.15. Signs will be on the west side of the road, as will the entrance and parking lot.
